From its inception in 1992 until 2019 Tom was a driving force at Eurocommercial, a public company listed on Euronext Amsterdam, and one of Europe’s most respected property investors.
Until 2019 Tom directed operations at Eurocommercial France, managing a portfolio of circa 1.3 bn euros in asset value, encompassing 12 shopping centres in Paris and provincial France. He led and was responsible for a team of 30 people.
From 2017, he became responsible for expansion into Belgium and the acquisition of one of the country’s largest shopping centres, Woluwe Shopping in Brussels.
Previously he was at Jones Lang Wootton (Paris 1989-1992) and Knight Frank (Sydney 1986-1989 and London 1982-1985). He speaks fluent French and day-to-day Spanish and Italian. He has a degree in Modern Languages from Durham University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
